TOGETHER

LET'S START DOING YOUR BIT FOR YOUR COMMUNITY. JOIN US AS A 7TH & 8TH CHAPTER
Who We Are
The Coalition for a Safe Community started in 2010 with a concerned group of citizens, public officers, law enforcement agencies, faith-based and other organizations determined to take action to combat crime and violence.
What We Do
It’s been eight years since the inception of the Atlantic County Coalition for a Safe Community. Although what seems like a very short period of time, we are now in four communities: Atlantic City, Pleasantville, Galloway, and Egg Harbor City.

OUR WORK
Coming together is a Beginning | Keeping together is Progress | Working together is Success

OUR WORK
Most recently, we held our 2 nd Annual Teen Summit at Stockton University. It was a very successful event, with over 200 students in attendance from 10 area high schools.
Another ongoing initiative is our Community Walks, which have been so successful in Atlantic City that we have expanded our collaboration to also include agencies providing educational information to community residents.
LEADER QUOTES

“As we enter into our 5th year of existence, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the wonderful volunteers of the Coalition for a Safe Community, for another successful year. What we have put together cannot be rivaled anywhere in the State of New Jersey. We at ACPD are eagerly looking forward to partnering with the Coalition in 2015, as we continue to work toward making the communities of Atlantic City and Pleasantville safer for all.”
- Mayor Jesse L. Tweedle, Sr., City of Pleasantville
